Five Phantom Discount by Marcus Fell and Jason Krumbine
A Ruthless Corporation. A Murder. Magic, Mayhem, and the Ultimate Con.
What do you get when you cross a disgraced wizard, a double-crossed partner, and a magical vault heist in Manhattan? The answer is Five Phantom Discount—the first electrifying novel in the new Phantom and Bishop series by Marcus Fell and Jason Krumbine.
After six long years behind bars, wizard and career con man Frank Phantom is a free man. At least, that’s what he told the parole board. In truth, Frank’s been plotting revenge from day one against the ex-partner who set him up, stole his score, and ran off with his wife.
Now reunited with his old accomplice Clay Bishop, Frank has his eyes on a bigger prize: Deacon’s private vault, packed with enchanted defenses and housing something so powerful, it could tip the scales of the magical underworld.
Of course, pulling off the score of a lifetime won’t be easy. It’s a five-person job, and trust is in short supply when your crew’s made up of liars, thieves, and people who can literally bend reality. But Frank Phantom didn’t survive prison—and a broken heart—just to walk away from a fight.
With whip-smart banter, high-stakes magic, and a heist you won’t see coming, Five Phantom Discount delivers a supernatural crime story for fans of The Dresden Files, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and Now You See Me.
The game is on. The magic is real. And Frank Phantom is done playing nice.
About The Authors
Marcus Fell writes action-packed urban fantasy adventures with humor and wit. His favorite question to ask in any situation is: What if…
He’s spent most of his life moving around the Eastern Seaboard and does not believe he can be truly happy if he lives more than an hour’s drive from boardwalks, rickety old rollercoasters that shake like they could at any moment fall down, and long sandy lawns that lead down to the shore.
When he’s not walking his potbellied pig, Ghostbuster, Marcus hunts Mothman, Snallygaster, and every other what-if cryptid that goes bump in the night.
Jason Krumbine loves to write! He’s the author of over 30 novels, stretching across all genres. He’s happily married and lives in New York City, where he enjoys shopping with his wife, discovering new playgrounds with his daughter, and reading in Central Park.
